Notes:	## BLS HeartCode® Blended Learning The American Heart Association BLS HeartCode course is a blended learning course completed in two required parts. ### Part 1 — Online HeartCode BLS Course Complete the assigned AHA HeartCode BLS online course before attending your scheduled skills session. - Complete the online lessons, activities, and required testing. - The online portion must show 100% complete before the in-person skills session. - Bring or have access to your HeartCode BLS completion certificate. ### Part 2 — In-Person Skills Session After completing Part 1, attend your scheduled hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor. During the skills session, you will demonstrate required BLS skills, including: - High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants - AED use - Bag-mask ventilation - Team-based resuscitation skills - Choking relief and other required BLS skills ### Certification Both Part 1 and Part 2 must be successfully completed to receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for 2 years. Important: The online HeartCode course alone does not provide BLS certification. The hands-on skills session is required.
