Notes:	Heartsaver Direct – First Aid CPR AED Flexible Training • Online Learning + On-Site Hands-On Skills Heartsaver Direct provides a convenient way to complete American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED training. The program is completed in two required steps. Both steps must be successfully completed to receive your AHA eCard. STEP 1 — Complete Your Online Course After registration and payment are completed, your individual AHA online course will be assigned to you. You will receive an email with instructions and a link to access your course. Complete the online/pre-course portion first before beginning the hands-on skills session. Please use the email address entered during registration when accessing your assigned course. STEP 2 — Complete Your On-Site Skills Session After completing the online portion, you will complete your required hands-on skills using the Heartsaver Direct manikin/unit located on site. The system will guide you through the required skills, including CPR and other assigned First Aid/CPR/AED components. The Heartsaver Direct unit is available on site 24/7, allowing you to complete your skills session at your own pace during the designated access period. Certification Once Step 1 and Step 2 and all required course components have been successfully completed, your American Heart Association Heartsaver eCard is issued electronically. ONLINE FIRST → HANDS-ON SKILLS → AHA eCARD Participants are responsible for completing all assigned online and hands-on components. Employer or regulatory training requirements may vary. Employer-specific and applicable OSHA requirements may vary.

1. Online eLearning: Complete the core knowledge portion (First Aid, CPR, AED) online, learning at your own pace.
2. Hands-On Skills Session: You then finish with a required practical skills check with an instructor, using mannequins for practice, either in-person..
3. Certification: Upon successful completion, you receive an official AHA Heartsaver eCard.
