Who Qualifies for a BLS Renewal Class?

BLS Renewal is ONLY for students who currently hold a valid (non-expired) American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider eCard.

You qualify for a BLS Renewal if:

• ✅ Your current certification is an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider eCard, AND

• ✅ It has NOT expired before your class date.

You DO NOT qualify for a BLS Renewal if:

• ❌ Your AHA BLS Provider eCard has expired.

• ❌ You have a CPR certification from another organization (Red Cross, ASHI, ProTrainings, etc.).

• ❌ You only have Heartsaver CPR/AED certification.

• ❌ You cannot provide proof of your current AHA BLS Provider certification.

Important: If your AHA BLS Provider eCard is expired—even by one day—you must register for the Full BLS Provider Course, not the Renewal.

Please have your current AHA BLS Provider eCard available when registering and bring it with you to class for verification.
