Heartsaver® Direct – Adult CPR/AED & First Aid
Flexible • Convenient • OSHA Accepted • American Heart Association Certified
Heartsaver® Direct is an American Heart Association (AHA) blended learning program that combines self-paced online learning with a hands-on skills evaluation using an automated CPR simulation station. This flexible training option allows you to complete the online coursework at your own pace and schedule the required skills session at a time that works best for you.
Our automated simulation station is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by appointment, making certification convenient for busy professionals, employers, and the general public.
Who Should Take This Course?
This course is designed for individuals with little or no medical training who need CPR, AED, and First Aid certification for employment, OSHA workplace compliance, licensing requirements, volunteer organizations, or personal preparedness.
What You'll Learn
Students will gain the knowledge and confidence to respond to emergencies until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrive, including:
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use Choking relief Bleeding control Burns and shock Sprains, strains, and fractures Medical and environmental emergencies Basic First Aid care How It Works
Step 1 – Register Your registration includes a unique AHA online course key code. After registering, you will receive instructions for accessing the American Heart Association eLearning course.
Step 2 – Complete the Online Course Log into the AHA eLearning portal and complete the interactive, self-paced lessons, videos, knowledge checks, and final assessment. Upon completion, save or print your online completion certificate.
Step 3 – Complete Your Hands-On Skills Session Schedule your appointment and complete your approximately 30-minute hands-on skills evaluation using our automated simulation station. The system provides real-time feedback while evaluating CPR compressions, AED skills, and other required course skills according to current American Heart Association standards.
Certification
After successfully completing both the online learning and hands-on skills evaluation, you will receive an official American Heart Association Heartsaver® eCard, valid for two years. Your eCard will be emailed to the address used during registration.
Important Information Your online course key code is included with your registration. Each key code is assigned to one student and may only be used once. Online training must be completed before attending the hands-on skills session. Bring or upload your online completion certificate before your appointment. Hands-on skills sessions are available 24/7 by appointment. This course meets American Heart Association Heartsaver® standards and is accepted by employers requiring CPR, AED, and First Aid certification for workplace compliance.
