Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED

Be prepared to make a difference when every second counts.

The Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED course combines an engaging online learning experience with a hands-on skills session to give you the confidence to respond during emergencies. The online portion introduces the essential knowledge and techniques needed to recognize and respond to first aid emergencies, choking incidents, and sudden cardiac arrest until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrives.

During the course, you will learn how to:

• Control bleeding

• Care for sprains, strains, and broken bones

• Recognize and treat shock

• Respond to common first aid emergencies

• Perform high-quality adult CPR

• Safely operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

After completing the online portion, you'll attend an instructor-led skills session where you'll practice and demonstrate these life-saving techniques using realistic scenarios and hands-on coaching. This blended learning approach helps reinforce your knowledge and build the confidence needed to respond effectively in a real emergency.

This course is designed for individuals with little or no medical training who need an American Heart Association course completion card to satisfy workplace, regulatory, or other certification requirements.
