Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support “ACLS” is an advanced, instructor-led class addressing the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care for adult populations. Participants will practice airway management, pharmacology, and EKG rhythm identification. This course is designed for medical professionals and prepares them to respond to cardiac arrest, bradycardia, and tachycardia emergencies. The skills are practiced in large and small groups with medical case scenarios utilizing electronic simulators. The class covers the BLS curriculum, and participants will earn a BLS Provider certification card if they take the BLS Provider exam. A copy of the ACLS Provider Manual is required for taking this course. ACLS CLASSES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
This course is taught in a hybrid format with online training and then an in-person skills check. After registering for this course on our website, purchase the ACLS Heartcode video from ShopCPR.com and complete the online training before attending the in-person skills check at our TrainingCenter.
